Agni House

This charming villa is less than a five-minute walk from Agni Bay on the northeast coast of Corfu. A peaceful property surrounded by vibrant gardens, it has five bedrooms, a private swimming pool, and beautiful sea views. The house is approximately a 45-minute drive from Corfu airport. Arriving at the ornate iron gates, you’ll take the road lined with olive trees up to the wonderfully secluded property.

Once you’re settled in, take the monopati (footpath) from the garden down to Agni Bay below, where you’ll find an unspoilt shingle and sand beach melting into the clear blue water. There are also three excellent tavernas to choose from and boat rental. Climb aboard and explore the neighbouring bays and beaches, and marvel at the natural beauty of the coastline.

The property consists of the main house, and a little house or spiti, situated around a lemon tree courtyard. The main house has a living and dining room with games and an upright piano. Next to it, there is a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and large glass doors opening out onto the terrace. The master bedroom, located on the first floor, features its own balcony. Additionally, on the same floor, there are two more bedrooms. One serves as an alternative master bedroom with an ensuite shower room, while the other is a bunk room equipped with two bunk beds. Cross the courtyard, filled with the glorious scents from the lemon tree and rosemary bushes, to reach the little house.

This house contains a further two large double bedrooms, both of which have ensuite shower rooms and their own front doors. There is a long terrace stretching the length of the main house, where you’ll find lounge seating and long dining table, which can comfortably sit twelve people, under the shade of an ancient olive tree. From here you can watch the little ones paddling in the generous shallow end of the pool. There is a second dining area under the balcony of the main house and a gas barbecue housed under a stone roofed permanent gazebo near the pool. The gardens are filled with colourful flowers and herbs, and there is even a kitchen garden and a table tennis table nestled amongst the fruit trees.

This villa rental includes air-conditioning and WiFi throughout, plus a maid service six days a week and daily garden and pool maintenance.
