Only 20 minutes from the centre of Marrakesh, the Villa Dar Moulouya is a peaceful oasis sleeping 14 people in great luxury in a mansion located in the verdant Ourika valley. This 2004 built villa is traditional in style and combines the conveniences of the modern age with all the rich detail of the past. The Ourika valley is a wonderfully preserved example of rural life throughout the ages in the Moroccan countryside.

You will be entering a different world where snake charmers, spice traders and hammams jostle for your attention with elegant shopping and trendy hotels.

Alternatively, if hiking and trekking are more of interest to your guests, the nearby Atlas Mountains provide you with an opportunity within a drive of just 45 minutes.

When the charms of the city or the mountains have exhausted you, the exquisite gardens of Villa Dar Moulouya will welcome you back through the Andalusian style courtyard and past the cooling fountain to take a refreshing dip in the huge pool.

Children will be enchanted to share the villa with a couple of tortoises who roam the gardens, content, as you will be, to enjoy the sights and smells of olive, lemon, orange, palm and banana trees, pomegranates and 1000 roses.

Spoiled by the resident chef and housekeeper, breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served either in the beautiful dining room or al fresco, whether under an olive tree or pergola, according to guests’ wishes.

The 7 bedrooms, all with air conditioning as standard, have en suite bathrooms and are elegantly furnished and decorated - as colourful as the gardens that surround the house and just as likely to delight you.

The villa benefits from an external Pavilion offering further accommodation to teenagers or those who want more space to themselves.

Whilst the bedrooms, including those in the Pavilion, are all on the ground floor, upstairs there is a shaded terrace with a pergola and Moroccan seating looking out onto the snow-capped Atlas Mountains - ideal for aperitifs all together. The entertainment rooms are all large so that you can gather all your guests together in elegant sitting and dining rooms.
