Finca Valldemossa

The villa is just a 5-minute drive from Valldemossa, a picturesque village steeped in history. Strolling through the cobbled streets, you’ll find art galleries and restaurants, bakeries selling Cocas de Potatas, Valldemossa’s famous biscuits, and, on Sunday mornings, a bustling street market brimming with local produce. Don’t miss a trip to the monastery where Chopin stayed in 1838, part of which now houses a museum dedicated to the Polish composer. There’s a wealth of outdoor activities around the villa; the Tramuntana mountains have many well-signed trails for hiking and mountain biking, plus there’s horse riding, rock climbing and golf courses nearby. Valldemossa lies directly north of Palma; the capital and its airport can be reached in 30 minutes by car.

Finca Valldemossa was built as a family residence and retains that welcoming feeling of a comfortable ‘home-from-home’. The large interior is filled with character; wooden beams, sumptuous fabrics and attractive works of art. There are four air-conditioned bedrooms – three in the main house and one in a separate casita – and four bathrooms. The elegant living room has a log fire, and there’s a separate a kids’ playroom with books and a doll’s house. There’s plenty to keep the little ones occupied with table-tennis, extensive lawns perfect for football and games, and a 15m swimming pool. The property has wonderful terraces for enjoying the views; a loggia with lounge-style seating and a large dining terrace.

At Finca Valldemossa, you can choose complete privacy and independence, or, if you prefer, have a little help with your holiday. There are two team members on hand for cooking, shopping, housekeeping and laundry. These services are available on request and come at an additional cost.
