The Stone House sits above the pretty harbour and village of San Stephanos (Agios Stefanos), one of the most attractive locations on the fashionably upmarket north-east coast of Corfu. The house was built to a very high standard indeed in 2012, and is finished at a very high quality, and is a most attractive looking property.
This picturesque fishing village has a charming, traditional feel to it but with the addition of a choice of shops, some excellent tavernas and a two great bars for those looking for some nightlife or to watch the rugby or football. San Stephanos has a small beach with wooden jetties which are ideal for sunbathing or fishing and you can easily rent a boat if you fancy exploring the pretty bays and coves along the neighbouring coastline--which we strongly recommend.
These include Agni, with its three world famous tavernas; Avlaki with its sailing school and horse riding; and Kerasia with its Blue Flag beach. Or you could choose to stop off at a secluded spot for swimming and sunbathing. If you prefer to walk, there is a coastal footpath that runs south from San Stephanos to Kerasia, Koulora, Kalami and Agni.
