Villa Mangénie is very impressive, best seen from the water where it stands like a castle on the rocks with winding stone pathways down to the sea, with terraces to relax on that the owner has built into the rock face. From here, you can take in the spectacular views towards Corfu Town with a bottle of chilled wine and a good book. There are two terraces at sea level with a bathing ladder for sea access.
The main house is centred around an open plan living area with huge sliding glass doors onto the pool area (all on the same level) on one side and a shaded outdoor seating area on the other. The kitchen/dining area has all the highest spec appliances that you would expect in a house of this quality and a huge glass topped dining table.
The formal terraced garden is completely private and feels like an oasis – the high stone walls planted with Mimosa trees and bougainvillea, bubbling water features and a soft lawn. Breakfast is served in the shaded bar area on the terrace and there is also an outdoor dining terrace under a wisteria-clad pergola.
