This family-friendly villa sits on the southern coast of Lefkada, an island that’s connected to mainland Greece yet feels wonderfully secluded. The peaceful, four-bedroom property is surrounded by private gardens, with a private infinity pool and stunning sea views. It’s located just outside of Sivota, one of the most beautiful bays on the island.
To reach Villa Apollo, you can fly direct from the UK to Lefkada Preveza Airport (PVK) with British Airways. From there, it’s about an hour’s drive to the property. Once you’re settled in, head to the nearby village of Sivota, and take your pick of traditional tavernas and trendy bars as you watch yachts coming and going from the harbour. There are two unspoilt sand and pebble beaches a short walk from the village. From Sivota, you can set sail around Lefkada and the small islands surrounding it. There are plenty of boating excursions to choose from, or you can hire your own motorboat to explore the crystal-clear waters at your own pace.
Villa Apollo can comfortably sleep up to eight guests in four double/twin bedrooms. Each bedroom is well-appointed, with air-conditioning and an en suite bathroom. There’s a modern kitchen with a comfortable, open-plan dining room and living room and the lower ground floor houses a table tennis table and treadmill. Outside, there’s a covered terrace for al fresco dining, where the aroma from the coal barbeque mingles with the fragrant herbs from the surrounding Mediterranean garden. On the large terrace, you can relax and enjoy the view of the Ionian from a sun lounger, or while floating in the blissful infinity pool. On the estate, 40m from Villa Apollo, is a smaller cottage with a double bedroom, which can be rented together with the main house, taking the number of guests up to 10. There is a daily housekeeping service at both properties.
For a relaxed family holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the busier Greek islands, Lefkada is an unspoilt gem. Villa Apollo is a holiday home for all the family to enjoy, with its private pool, sociable outdoor spaces and stunning views of the shimmering Ionian Sea.
