Villa Saskia is a beautiful French country house, located in the Provençal village of Le Rouret, near Valbonne & Grasse. This family-friendly villa sleeps up to 10, with a private pool and pool house, TV room and snooker room.

The villa is nestled in the hills behind the Riviera cities of Nice and Cannes. From here you can discover the best of both worlds; Provençal stone hillside villages or beachfront towns. Just 50 minutes from the villa you can dine amidst the glamour of Monte Carlo and Monaco or cross the border into Italy. The local villages of Le Rouret and Roquefort Les Pins have all the amenities you could need, and Le Rouret boasts the Michelin-starred 'Le Clos St Pierre' restaurant.

The villa was built in 1964 in the traditional Provencal style using local stone and has been recently renovated to provide guests with every modern comfort. The five bedrooms all have en suite bath/shower rooms, Wi-Fi and The White Company bed and bath linen. When it comes to entertainment, families are spoilt for choice. Inside, there’s a TV room with a large screen projector and gym equipment, plus a separate snooker room. Outdoors, there’s a boules court with night-time lighting, a 13m heated pool and a pool house complete with a Weber barbeque and drinks fridge. There’s also plenty of opportunity to relax, either lazing on a sun lounger by the pool or strolling through the grounds; 12,000 sqm of landscaped gardens, woodland and original olive terraces.

The owner of Villa Saskia has lovingly restored this family holiday home and maintains it to a very high standard. There is a weekly housekeeping service, including linen change, plus gardening and pool cleaning to keep the villa in excellent condition, inside and out. There is an additional house, sleeping four, that can be reserved on request. It has two en suite double bedrooms (one can be changed to a twin room), and a large dining/living area with kitchen, with access to the main house through the garden.
