This rural villa sits on the northern tip of the protected Sierra Crestillina Natural Area. The wooded mountains are wonderful for hiking and bird-watching. On the southern tip lies Casares, 18km from the villa. It’s one of the distinctive “pueblos blancos”, or white villages, dotted around Malaga, and arguably the most beautiful. The white houses are seemingly stacked like sugar cubes on the edge of a cliff below an Arab castle dating from the 13th century. The beach resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus are driving distance from the property, while Estepona, 35km away, is the nearest beach. The most convenient way to reach the villa is to fly into Gibraltar International Airport, which is a 65km drive.
