There are six bedrooms, including a children’s dormitory with bunk beds; a spacious kitchen and dining area; a wine cellar; and the living room, the centrepiece of the house. Vast windows and skylights bathe each room with light, welcoming peaceful mountain vistas and oozing sunshine into every corner. The interiors are unified by a neutral colour scheme and tastefully finished with soft, homely furnishings and colourful, contemporary artwork. The bedrooms have chic ensuites with smooth, stone sanitaryware and hammam showers.

The landscape gardens at Mas de Brunard have been carefully crafted to offer a unique view of the Alpilles. Filled with lavender and olive trees, these soft scents are reminiscent of quintessential Provence. Recline by the 16m pool on an elegant lounger, or pass a leisurely afternoon on the pétanque court. There is a shaded outdoor dining area with a barbecue and gas grill, and a selection of perfectly positioned outdoor sofas. Sink into your soft seat with a glass of wine as you watch the sun cast shadows across the lush pine forest, which fades away into craggy limestone peaks.

Catch a dappled sunrise or bask in an amber sunset. Southern France promises endless sun-soaked days spent exploring sandy coves or trotting through the Camargue on horseback. Mas de Brunard provides access to an array of hiking trails, cycling routes, and wild beaches that are yours to discover. Fill baskets with fresh vegetables, lavender, and perfume at the local market stalls, or delve into a treasure trove of antiques at the flea market. The Mas can also arrange a private tasting at one of the beautiful nearby olive mills or vineyards.
