A contemporary, 3-storey villa in desirable north-east Corfu. Villa Lilly is in a peaceful spot, surrounded by olive groves and greenery, in the hills above the pretty fishing village of San Stefanos. It’s just a 5-minute drive down the little bay and a choice of tavernas. With plenty of space, both inside and out the villa is a great choice for an extended family or a couple of families holidaying together.
Rooms are light and well-appointed, many with exceptional sea views. Five of the bedrooms, and the open-plan living area, have balconies. You can look out across the valley of trees to the Corfu channel and Albania beyond. From the master bedroom, this is the view from your king-sized bed, dressed with romantic white drapes. On the lower floor, one of the other bedrooms is fitted with four bunk beds for children. The main open-plan living room has comfortable seating, with deep wicker sofas, a dining area and a modern kitchen. A second, smaller living room, on the lower floor, could make a good ‘den’ for teenagers to have their own space.
There’s a wonderful large swimming pool and sizeable terraces. The pool terrace has a shaded outdoor dining area seating 14, a BBQ and two separate seating areas with contemporary rattan furniture. All is set within verdant grounds filled with olive trees and banks of agapanthus. It feels so lovely and remote yet there is a choice of beaches and restaurants within a 10-minute drive.
