Villa Olous

Villa Olous, with private sea access, is located just a stone’s throw from Elounda, in the lovely Bay of Mirabello. It’s just an hour’s drive from Heraklion and well-placed for trips to Aghios Nikolaos, the island of Spinalonga or the famous Minoan site of Knossos. The villa has a private tennis court and the largest golf course in Greece is only 35 minutes away.

Olous can sleep up to 16 guests, in six bedrooms across three floors, in the main house, and a further two bedrooms in a separate guest house. There’s a 600-year-old decorative fireplace in the sitting room, a billiards room, a study and an inside dining for 12.

A 7-minute stroll down a path takes you to a large wooden swimming platform overlooking the sea. A bench has been thoughtfully placed halfway along the path so you can take a break, and enjoy the views, on the slightly more strenuous return journey. Or enjoy the Vila’s 12-metre infinity pool and boules court.
