The two acres of surrounding private land encompass mature gardens, abundant fruit trees, a seafront sunbathing area, a floating jetty and boat mooring. Sandy beaches, tavernas and a beach bar are within a few minutes walk. It really is the most wonderful place to holiday.
Rooms are finished to perfection, with an eclectic mix of furnishings, exhibiting both a designers flair and supremely welcoming ambience. All is light and airy, with pale walls, fabrics, and original thick stone walls keeping it cool in summer. Dreamy bedrooms are split across the main house, cottage and guest studio. Downstairs, the refined main drawing room and library lead to the splendid terraces and outside areas.
Please note that while there all 7 bedrooms are available to guests, the house does not accommodate more that 12 guests.
The main terrace, with its sublime sea views, wisteria-clad pergola, bar and plentiful seating, is the focal point for entertaining and socialising. Theres also an outdoor gym, yoga and private massage area and infinity pool, all overlooking the sea. From the terrace, steps lead down to the seafront sunbathing deck and floating jetty. Several boats can be moored here, and one can dive into the crystal clear waters or take out one of the paddle boards to explore the coastline.
The beaches are safe and ideal for young children. To the north is a tranquil monastery with a secluded, rarely used sandy beach. The charming villages of San Stefanos and Kassiopi, offering a variety of shops, restaurants and teenage -friendly nightlife, are a short boat journey or drive away. On the hillside above, you can visit the ancient ruined village of Perithia, and the UNESCO world heritage site of Corfu Old Town is just an hours drive.
