It sits atop a hill with fantastic views of Medieval Antognolla Castle and the renowned championship golf course. The villa has private landscaped gardens, and guests can enjoy the estate’s surrounding woodlands and nature reserves. It feels like a real haven, and yet there’s a grocery store just minutes away, the local village slightly further away, and all those wonderful historic towns to explore in the wider vicinity.
One length of the main house forms an open-plan kitchen, dining and living room with doors to the terrace. There’s a second living room with wicker armchairs, a linen-covered sofa, and also terrace access. Upstairs are six bedrooms, the beds with fabric-covered headboards and deep, comfortable mattresses. All the interiors have a calm, light, modern-rustic feel, featuring primarily soft pale tones contrasting with the original wooden beamed ceilings.
A dining table for 10 sits under a wisteria covered wooden pergola (with nearby barbecue), there are lots of outdoor sofas and chairs on the terraces, deckchairs can be set up on the lawns and there are sun beds, with parasols around the infinity pool. Or chill out in the jacuzzi area seating 8.
