It's surrounded by large green lawns and situated in a commanding hilltop position with wonderful views of rural Umbria. The property has been expertly renovated and transformed into a supremely comfortable villa; it is an excellent venue for a memorable large group holiday, a wedding, or a special occasion. The beautiful church has soaring, vaulted ceilings and is decorated with hand-painted frescos. The little village of Pierantonio, with shops, a bank and bars is a few minutes drive.
Six of the super king-size bedrooms are in the main house, the other four in the annexe opposite. All have large marble en-suite bathrooms. Both houses have well-equipped kitchens, living rooms with large, deep-cushioned sofas, and dining areas. The open-plan dining area in the main house has a long table to seat 12. There's also a further sitting room upstairs with a smart TV and Sky.
The various terraced areas have several locations for al fresco dining (or just to sit and relax) and great views in all directions. Near the annexe, a pergola provides shade in the day's heat and is a good spot to watch the sunset. On request, a wide range of experiences can be organised for guests, including wine tastings, cooking lessons, day trips, and spa services.
The villa is just 12 km (10 minutes) from Il Caldaro restaurant at the La Bruna Estate, renowned for its fine dining. For golf enthusiasts, Antognolla Golf is right at the entrance to the estate. The village of Pierantonio is only a few minutes away, providing shops, bars, and a bank. Lake Trasimeno, a popular spot for boating and relaxing by the water, is just 15 km (20 minutes) away. Historic towns such as Perugia and Assisi are also within easy reach, offering rich cultural experiences.
