This luxury accommodation in Andalucia is perfect for large group holidays. The 200-acre private estate has a large villa for 12 guests and four cottages, sleeping up to 28 guests. There’s plenty on site to keep everyone entertained, including a games room and three swimming pools, but venture beyond the grounds and the town of Casares is within easy driving distance, as is the beach.

Finca de las Aguilas can be reached from Gibraltar Airport in 45 minutes or Malaga airport in an hour and thirty minutes. It’s 20km from the restaurants and shops of Estepona, and just 10km from the nearest beach on the southern coastline. Head 4km further inland from the villa and you’ll arrive at Casares, an ancient village of tremendous beauty. A Moorish castle perches on top of the rugged hillside, with white houses cascading down beneath it. The national parks of the Sierra Bermeja and Sierra Crestillina are nearby, as are several world class golf courses.

The Main House at Finca de las Aguilas is a grand building that stands proudly at the top of the estate, overlooking the olive and pine trees, and the dramatic mountains beyond. The house has large, elegant spaces for entertaining, a games room with table tennis and pool table, and an unusual black infinity pool.

There are six bedrooms, all with marble en suite bathrooms, air-conditioning and underfloor heating. Within the estate there are four charming cottages, each with two double bedrooms and their own kitchens. Two of the cottages offer complete privacy from each other and the main house; they are accessed by a private road and each has its own dining terrace and swimming pool.

There’s a maid service six days a week in the Main House, and two days a week in the cottages. Linen is changed midweek. The property is maintained to a high standard by a full-time gardener and handyman.
