This rural idyll in Umbria, sleeps 12 in tastefully decorated splendour in the hills above Citta di Castello, northern Umbria’s main market town. You can choose the seclusion of this magnificent small estate or take the 15 minute drive to the town which offers basic amenities and much more.

The Villa dei Falchi is between 30 and 50 minutes away from an airport - you and your large group of guests have the choice from Perugia, Rimini, Forli or Florence airports with Perugia being the closest at 47 kilometres distance.

The house is situated at the head of the Valle dei Falci, from which elevated position you can appreciate views over the whole valley, as well as enjoy the breeze that will cool those around the pool in the hotter summer months.

The extensive grounds allow space for your guests to wander and spend time away, whether strolling within the grounds or further afield, the better to reconnect with the others at meal times. Umbria is an area known for its culinary delights so it will not be difficult to make these meals magical. For this reason, the well-equipped kitchen is a central feature of the house, with meals that can be served both inside and al fresco. Your housekeeper will attend to the household tasks for 5 hours a day on 3 days of the week, with additional hours provided if required.

Umbria also has much to offer of cultural interest - nearby Santa Rita was the birthplace of St Valentine and the town of Assisi is a World Heritage Site connected with St Francis of Assisi; in addition within a half hour drive is the university town of Perugia - a city for the lovers of food and art.

If it’s activity that your guests are seeking - there are 3 mountain bikes available for guests so that this area of enormous natural beauty can be explored. Walking or hiking from the house is also recommended and offers an alternative to the other perfect option of relaxing by the large and well appointed infinity edge pool. Breath taking views, from all aspects of the house, allow those not venturing too far to enjoy all the advantages of this wonderful situation.

Back at home, those with a competitive edge can take on the challenge of organising a game of ping pong in the games room. When weary, the 6 bedroom suites will welcome all in flexible double or twin beds, and with 5 bathrooms, 4 of which are en-suite - all guests will feel very comfortably and luxuriously accommodated.
