The villa's position is fabulous, set on a little headland, with steps down to the sea and the most wonderful views. The two nearest beaches are less than 500m away. The excellent taverna Trilogia is next door, and with the amenities of Kassiopi just a short stroll away, it's a popular choice for families, particularly those with independent teens. A complimentary breakfast is also included in the rental.
This lovely sunny area, furnished with crisp white sofas, opens out to the terrace and also connects to the indoor dining space. There's a well-equipped, newly fitted kitchen and a twin room on this floor. The master bedroom on the floor above has a large sea-facing terrace, a lovely place to sit and relax. The other bedrooms are spread across this floor and the floor above. The decor throughout is fresh, modern, comfortable and finished to a high standard.
On the house level, a lounge area and a separate outdoor dining room are set up under a wooden pergola. On the lower level, the swimming pool is at one end, and table tennis is at the other. The terraces are softened with areas of planting and lawn, and there are plenty of trees and shrubs around the property's boundaries. The sea can be accessed via a short path to the side of the house.
There's a variety of shops, tavernas, restaurants, cafes and pharmacies. Nightlife is focused around the harbour area, with a good choice of bars for teenagers looking for independence. Both private boat hire and organised trips are available from the harbour. As well as the two walkable beaches close by, there are several larger beaches to visit along the coastline, including the sandy beach at Kalamaki and Avlaki, which has two tavernas and sunbeds. The pretty fishing village of San Stephano is 6km away and has some nice waterfront tavernas. Further down the coast, water sports can be found near Kalami. Corfu Town is 35km to the south. It's well worth taking a day out to explore this charming UNESCO-registered old town, which has Venetian architecture, narrow streets, and a wealth of shops and restaurants.
